Standing Up

I was able to stand up alone in my crib. I used the walls for support. It was really difficult since my crib's walls were high and it's not soft so it gives in to my weight. Had to do a bit of maneuvering to get up. Only Mommy saw me. It was really hard to repeat so I couldn't show Daddy.

I Can Sit

I've finally started to sit on my own. Whenever they put me down on my belly, I'd just push my trunk upward, twist, then push away from the bed and I'm sitting up without help or support! Oh boy! It was difficult at first, but it gets easier with practice.

Here I am playing alone in my crib. Daddy and Mommy bought this cool toy for me at SM Megamall's Baby Company. It's the Musical Nature Stroll by TinyLove. It's originally designed for strollers but Daddy attached it to the side of my crib to motivate me to reach up and sit and stand.

First Kiddie Party

My cousin Sean Samuel Josef had his first birthday party today. He had it at Max's Restaurant @ Scout Tuason, Q.C. The theme was Disney's Cars. He had clowns who hosted games and did magic. I didn't get to join in the fun since I was too small. I did get a prize in the pabitin. Mommy wouldn't believe that I joined in. Nobody wanted to admit who gave me the prize. Mostly I wanted to stay in the corner because the speakers were too loud and there were too many people and that scared me.

First Day at Home

You were 3 days old when we checked out of Manila Doctors Hospital. We left after lunch and there was a light rain shower outside. We waited in the lobby for the car and you made a bit of a fuss, drawing notice from the passersby. It's okay ... I'm sure that everything seemed noisy and bright and cold. After being in my cozy and warm womb for eight months, you're probably overwhelmed. Since movement was still awkward for me, Daddy cuddled you.

You slept through most of the trip home. Your Daddy and I were so excited. Everything was ready for you. Your crib, your duyan, your bottles, your paliguan. Everything was spic and span. Once home, you were still sleeping so Daddy put you in your crib and we took pictures hehe.

Mommy...Lola...oops nagising ka na pagdating kay Daddy :)
